Calipatria Unified School District has entered into the annual Spring Assessment testing period. Each school site will be administering the state assessment exams in English Language Arts, Mathematics and Science. Calipatria High School will also be administering the Advanced Placement exams. All sites are currently administering the Summative English Language Proficiency Assessment in California (ELPAC) to all English Learners. We encourage parents to reach out to their child's teacher or site principal for additional information.

El Distrito Escolar Unificado Calipatria ha entrado en el período anual de pruebas de evaluación de primavera. Cada sitio escolar administrará los exámenes de evaluación estatales en artes del lenguaje inglés, matemáticas y ciencias. La Escuela Secundaria Calipatria también administrará los exámenes de Colocación Avanzada. Congratulations to the CHS Varsity Football team for their championship victory. The 2024 Calipatria Hornets capped their season with the first 5AA Championship in Football. With great pride we celebrate the student athletes and coaching staff. We also thank all of the supporters and our school community for their support. A well deserve victory for our Hornets.

CUSD will hold the regular Board Meeting on Monday, April 14, 2025. The meeting will be held in the Grace Smith School Library, 9 East. 4th St., Niland, CA 92257. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM

Calipatria USD will be adhering to the the CIF Heat Illness Prevention and Heat Acclimatization Policies as per California State Assembly Bill AB 1653 and CIF Bylaw 503.K. Parents, athletes, and staff are encouraged to review the guidance and take appropriate action during outdoor activities.

Calipatria USD has established the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan. The plan will become part of the ongoing safe working environment supports provided within the district. The plan is posted to the district website under Employee Notices and Handbook in the Human Resources Department.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Imperial County SELPA Executive Board hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held on June 20, 2024 at 7:30 am
On, or before June 30th of each fiscal year per EC Section 56205, all SELPAs must complete and submit an Annual Budget Plan (Section D of the CDE SELPA Local Governance Plan) and Annual Services Plan (Section E of the CDE SELPA Local Governance Plan) to CDE for consideration of approval. Each component of the Governance and Administration Plan, Annual Budget Plan and the Annual Services Plan for our SELPA has been completed, along with the corresponding attachments. Both Plans can be found at https://www.icoe.org/selpa/about/imperial-county-selpa-governance-plan

The 2024-2025 proposed district budget and LCAP will be presented for public input at the upcoming June 10, 2024 Regular scheduled board meeting. Adoption will be finalized at the subsequent regular scheduled board meeting for June 24, 2024.

We are now accepting Milk and Dairy Bids
